About Me
I am a predoc at The Normal Lab of the University of Chicago. I hold a BA and MA in Economics from the University of Zurich.
My work studies how social ties and norms shape economic behavior, and how that behavior aggregates into market, organizational, and political outcomes. I am increasingly interested in how organizations such as firms and communities harness these social forces, setting rules to recruit members, direct effort, and sustain cooperation or segregation across group boundaries. To support this work, I build datasets and develop research designs to measure social mechanisms that are economically important but hard to observe.
